FinTech4Business Forum
In 2019 our team successfully organized the first Fintech 4 Business Forum which was held in Belgrade, at the Yugoslav Film Archive Museum, supported by USAID Cooperation for Growth Project. More than 350 attendees participated in the event.
Objective
As a part of their Cooperation for Growth Project USAID Serbia engaged New Angles Consulting to produce and organise a business event: FinTech 4 Business Forum in order to introduce SMEs and the Serbian business community to business solutions and alternative ways of financing offered by modern technologies such as #blockchain #crowdinvesting or #crowdfunding. One of the event objectives was to enable open dialogue between public and private sector representatives and provided valuable suggestions on how to regulate the regulatory framework for access to #fintech solutions. Also, one of the Forum’s goals was to present successful international fintech products to the local SMEs.
Solution
The Forum gathered 350 + guests from small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, FinTech companies, bankers, investment funds, consultants local and international business, and professionals organizations.
A significant number of international speakers and high-officials attended and spoke at the event. Three high officials gave their opening remarks: Serbian Prime Minister, US Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, and Vice Governor of the National Bank of Serbia. Since this was a hi-tech event the client asked for an alternative type of venue.
