The SEE NPL Forum is an annual business event which provide an opportunity for various international and local banking professionals, regulators, turnaround management professionals, investors, consultants and appraisers active in NPL sales and acquisitions, to meet, share ideas and connect.
This year’s Forum was held on the 19th of November in a hybrid format with 2 newly introduced workshops: “Negotiating SPAs in NPL transaction” and “Valuing NPLs”.
The delegates of the SEE NPL Forum Vol.5 had an opportunity to visit some of the artworks created by recognized artists who presented their works in a non-gallery context as a “pop-up” exhibition within the Art Intermezzo series.
The primary goal of this event is engagement in a public-private dialogue regarding business and regulatory issues that would help enable various stakeholders a more successful development of the SEE NPL market. Also, a well-thought-out and organized annual event under the brand SEE NPL Forum enhances chances of achieving a better regulatory framework, best knowledge and practice sharing, networking and regional cooperation.
Past five SEE NPL Forums gathered over 800 leading stakeholders and key regional market participants to exchange practical experiences and insights through a series of interactive panel discussions, confirming the importance of the topic, the investment potential of the NPL market and its significance for economic growth in the region. The event is recognized as the go-to event in SEE by the NPL community and regional regulators.
