SEE NPL + Finance Forum Vol.9
The SEE NPL + Finance Forum is a well-established annual event that serves as a central meeting point for professionals from the financial, NPL, real estate, and regulatory sectors across Southeast Europe. The Forum gathers banking professionals, investors, regulators, NPL servicers, valuation experts, insurers, and consultants, providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and market perspectives. Over the years, the Forum has been widely recognized by the regional financial community as a must-attend event addressing key issues relevant to market stability, investment, and growth.
SEE NPL + Finance Forum Vol.9 took place on 28/11/2025, bringing together the regional financial community in a dynamic conference format. Building on the successful transformation introduced in 2024, the Forum continued under the SEE NPL + Finance Forum name, further expanding its thematic scope beyond traditional NPL topics. The 2025 edition focused on the interconnectedness of finance, real estate, capital markets, and sustainability, reflecting the evolving needs of both the financial sector and the wider business ecosystem.
Objective
Remaining committed to delivering high-quality, relevant content, the Forum assembled a diverse and experienced group of speakers representing financial institutions, regulators, international organizations, and professional associations. The agenda addressed the regional macroeconomic environment, monetary policy challenges, and capital flow dynamics, alongside investment opportunities across financial instruments and real estate. Particular emphasis was placed on ESG considerations, sustainable finance, green lending, and the growing impact of regulation and digital transformation on financial services.
Discussions also covered the current state of the NPL market in Southeast Europe as an important economic indicator, developments in factoring and alternative financing for SMEs, as well as the evolving role of valuation, insurance, and risk assessment in the context of climate and transition risks.
Goal
Over nine editions, the SEE NPL + Finance Forum has brought together more than 1,400 key stakeholders and market leaders, fostering the exchange of practical insights through interactive panels and focused discussions. The 2025 edition gathered over 280 participants from 7 countries, confirming the Forum’s growing relevance and its role as a trusted platform for regional dialogue. The primary goal remained to support informed decision-making, encourage cross-sector collaboration, and contribute to the sustainable development of financial markets in Southeast Europe.
